DEEPER FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Wednesday 9th June 2022.
God has made Himself fully available to us but how far and deep we walk into His dimensions is fully dependent on us.
Ezekiel 47:3-5 And he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water [came up to my] ankles. Again he measured one thousand and the water [came up to my] knees. Again he measured one thousand; the water [came up to my] waist. Again he measured one thousand, [and it was] a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.
The angel showed Ezekiel the four levels of the Holy Spirit he would engage in i.e the ankle-deep (level one), knee-deep (level two), waist-deep (level three), and full immersion (level four).
Each level has diverse results in our lives. You can choose to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit at any of them.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Many believers have stayed stuck on righteousness yet it's just a foundation.
When we give our lives to Jesus, we are brought into alignment with God through this gift of righteousness.
It is just the beginning of the journey into depth with God (Holy Spirit) but hunger, thirst, and passion is what determines fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Every level you step into increases the influence of the Holy Spirit upon your life, choices, decisions, etc.
A man who has gone beyond the waist level is carried by the Holy Spirit, you go through water, and the deeper you go, the more of the water effect you feel upon your life.
Abraham's journey with God reveals to us a perfect example of growth in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 22:3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.
Abraham walked with God step by step. His fellowship/ communion grew until he became accepted by God. He made mistakes here and there but he always came back to God (Genesis 12:13,16:1).
By the time Abraham reached the pinnacle of his walk with God, he was willing to offer his son as a sacrifice and at this level, there is nothing God would withhold from Him.
Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing.
We are not the same in God's kingdom. The only similarity is being in the same kingdom but we carry different weights and bring different results.
This is determined by your level of fellowship which is determined by your obedience to the instructions of God.
Hebrews 10:8 [ Previously saying,] [] [ "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and] [offerings] [ for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure] [in them] [ "] [ (which are offered according to the law)
Jesus lived a life of total surrender and obedience to God. His heart was a hundred percent inclined to obey the instructions of His Father (Luke 22:42, John 5:30).
How far you walk with God determines the manifestation of results you want to see in your life. If you want this glory, you must go past the ankle depth and enter in there.
May the fire of consecration burn in our lives tonight because every level requires a higher level of consecration.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVOURED, WE LOVE YOU. PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
