DIMENSIONS OF GOD'S PRESENCE
19TH SEPTEMBER, 2022

You can present your prayer requests (there is nothing wrong with that) but there is a place in prayer where all you got to do is to yield yourself to the flow of the Spirit and let Him drive you. Sometimes it is tears: you just cry not knowing why, sometimes it is singing: you just worship, sometimes it is violent prayer, sometimes it is just words of adoration or exaltation, and sometimes deep sighing.

All these are dimensions of prayer that you can allow the Holy Spirit to navigate your heart into. This is what makes your moments of prayer supernatural and seizes to be a programmed affair.

Psalms 180:18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. (KJV)

That means a man can call upon the name of the Lord without His quickening but being carried by the effect of programming. There is a place for that but as you walk with God, it gets deeper and deeper and one of the things you begin to learn is yielding to the Spirit of the Lord.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…

There is a position in the spirit (it can’t be described with words) when the Master comes yet we are in Him and His presence is there. This means that we all don't stand in the same place even in His presence because the presence has dimensions; some people are closer to God yet we are all in His presence.

If we want to experience the deep measure of His presence, we ought to make the effort to draw near to God and He will draw near to us.

Song of Solomon 1:4 Draw me away! We will run after you…

If you want to understand the heart of a lover (the heart of God), read Songs of Songs chapter 1.

There is a drawing which you initiate but there is a drawing from the presence of the Lord that is initiated by the Spirit and it is in that place of prayer where great things are made manifest.

It is my cry to the Master that the Holy Spirit will help you and me and take us to that beautiful place in the presence of God where you yield to Him and He carries you; a richer and wealthier place of prayer, fellowship, and seeking.

Luke 1:9-11 (KJV) According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. 11Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

God reveals to us that we can fellowship, pray and have our dealing with Him from different places each having a different measure of experiences.

There is a crowd (body of believers) that has not known the place of prayer from inside; they are in the presence of God but praying from that is described as ‘outside’ because there is a price you have to pay to move your level of fellowship/ communion with God to a richer place of experience with Him.

There are no laws but individual instructions that the Holy Spirit will give you that when you yield and let go of those things, they will help you to draw near to Him. Some of these things are not sin but weights or yokes that are preventing you from experiencing the wealthy dimensions of God.

There are personal dealings we have that when you yield and heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit, It will take you closer into that dimension of God’s presence and the things God will do in and through your life in that place are different (1 Samuel 17:39).

Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

What is it that made David so eager to go to the house of the Lord; he could not wait for another day to go into His house? There was a wealth of experience and account that David would experience in that place.

Yielding to the Spirit is the key to enjoying fellowship in times of prayer, worship, etc. This is how our spiritual walk with God loses boredom and becomes full of life.

It is my prayer for you: that the Lord may open your heart,
