EXALT JESUS ABOVE ALL

Tuesday 28th June 2022

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

We will never know the leading and guidance of the Spirit until we arrive at that place in our walk with God where our will is fully submitted to His.

We must surrender to God's will for Him to lead us.

Luke 4:1 Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Throughout the scriptures, Jesus gives us the best example that He came to do the will of the one who sent Him (John 6:38, John 4:34).

Our relevance and effectiveness in this kingdom is tied to this simple truth; surrendering to the will of the Master.

John 3:30 He must increase, but I [must] decrease.

May the Holy Spirit help us to decrease that when men look at us, they don't see us but Jesus in us.

Men want to see, touch, and experience Jesus, not fellow men, pastors, apostles, etc (Mark 3:10).

Matthew 17:1-3 .... and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

When Jesus ascended to the mountain with His disciples,  their eyes were opened that they were able to see Moses and Elijah.

Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Matthew 17:4

This is the problem that is in the church of Christ today. We have built tabernacles for Moses, Elijah, and Jesus leaving men in confusion without knowing where to go.

Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

God said nothing about Moses and Elijah though they appeared on the mountain. It is all about Jesus!

Therefore let our churches, ministries, businesses, careers, households, etc be about Jesus and not men because He is the one who gives the increase (Matthew 17:8, 1 Corinthians 3:4-6).

John 12:32(KJV) And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.

Whom are you lifting in that ministry, business, career, family, relationship, etc?

If you lift Jesus, then men will come.

Matthew 17:14-16 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”....

The disciples could not do much until Jesus came. Men are hungry and thirsty and their only answer is Jesus.

May the Holy Spirit move upon our hearts, and break them that we may decrease for Jesus to increase.
