FELLOWSHIP THROUGH PRAYER
Thursday 24th November 2022.
God instituted the platform of prayer for man to commune and fellowship with Him.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Because of this body, we came into time, entered the three-dimensional world, and prayer was introduced because of time.
Man has his source in God. It is only on the platform of prayer that man can sustain and bring forth that which heaven has ordained for him to bring on earth.
Matthew 6:9-10 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.
Man's primary assignment was to bring heaven into his environment that God brought him into that is to draw from eternity and bring into time.
So God created me and you for fellowship. It is through this interaction that we interface with the Spirit called God/ Elohim that what is of heaven is released on the earth.
So, you are a creature of divine fellowship. Your completion, true fulfillment, and life satisfaction is found in the place of communion.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
No materialistic substance given by man on earth can be able to fill that place in your heart. Eternity can only be given by the eternal one!
Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You [are] God.
It is through this avenue that God has availed to you and me that we interact with Him and find true fulfillment and satisfaction.
Man's fulfillment, completion, and satisfaction is only found in place of fellowship and communion, everything else is a by-product of this fellowship.
It is unfortunate that many times as believers, we focus on the by-product but the key to advancing not only you but also the kingdom and purpose of God in your life is tied to your intimacy and fellowship life with God. So the primary reason why we pray, fast, and seek God is that we can interface with Him.
1 John 1:1-4.... that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
We have been invited into fellowship and this fellowship is what yields ministry and all these things we see today.
Many times we start right but along the way, we are taken up by what the fellowship has produced and we forget the fellowship itself.
John 21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
He told Peter three times whatever you are going to do should be born from a place of interaction with me.
Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Why did Jesus do away with them? Because they lost fellowship, they got caught up.
You can get caught up in ministry, business, and things of God and you forget God. Jesus brought it to us when he visited the house of Lazarus
Luke 10:38-42... But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
Martha was obsessed with service while Mary chose the best part of being at the feet of Jesus and enjoying the fellowship. Nothing should ever substitute the place of fellowship with the Master.
