GOD’S DEALINGS

Friday 25th February 2021

Mark 10:47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have MERCY on me!”

Jesus shows mercy to as many as those who reach out to Him in faith.

His mercies can never be exhausted (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Exodus 34:6-7 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, MERCIFUL and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin,...

God wanted Moses to know that the God who called him is Love, Mercy, Grace, etc. His judgment is not for destruction but to draw us to him (2 Corinthians 7:10, Hosea 2:14).

Do you see the mercies of God in that wilderness experience?

Genesis 50:20 You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Joseph's brothers thought they were doing evil but he realized it was mercy when he began to see through the eyes of God.

Sometimes we just need to understand that the affliction has come to neither KILL nor DESTROY us but to simply lead us into the path of life (Psalms 119:71).

1 Peter 1:7 That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Don't be moved when going through tests and trials. It could be a way that God is revealing to you His mercies so that you inherit His promises when patience has completed its work (James 1:4).

Satan may think he is destroying you but the mercies of God are doing a conversion (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust..

God is faithful and will never permit you to go through what He has not prepared for you. He has infused/equipped you with all it takes to overcome what looks impossible (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Don't rush to judge, ask God to help you see correctly what is happening. Sometimes you may end up fighting the very hand of God that has come to cause a change.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;...

The most important thing in the valley is the presence of God (Exodus 33:14-15).
