GOD'S GRACE AND MERCY

As children of God, we ought to maintain an appropriate posture of brokenness and contrition of Spirit however high the Lord raises us and influential, prosperous and wealthy He makes us so that those blessings don't become a stumbling block to our lives.
Always ask the Holy Spirit to preserve your heart and help you to stay in that place of brokenness because that is the only way you will stay rising from glory to glory.
James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
Any man you see is because God has made His grace available to Him and if God withdraws It (His grace) from any area of their life, they will struggle (Ephesians 2:8).
Isaiah 1:9 Unless the Lord of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah.
When we look at the kind of lifestyle that the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah lived and we compare it to what we live now, we are even worse yet God destroyed them. He is preserving us not because we are special but because of His grace and mercies (Lamentations 3:22-23).
I pray we observe the diverse degree of God's grace upon our lives that we sell ourselves to obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit starting with the written Word. I know there is a battle called flesh that we can not run away from but the Bible says;
Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16.
We will fight the battle of flesh until Jesus comes back but the secret to winning the war against flesh is to yield yourself to the Holy Spirit for you become a servant of the one you yield yourself to. When you yield to Him, He empowers you to overcome those negative tendencies.
Zechariah 4:6 “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
Even a man who claims to be morally upright, if you dig into his imagination, it is a lie. Only the Spirit of God can help a man to sustain a pure life, that's what makes the difference between the old testament and the new testament believer (the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.
The more you partner with Him, the easier it becomes for you to walk and follow the path of the Lord.
