GREATER MERCY

1 Kings 3:3-5(MSG) ..... GOD appeared to Solomon in a dream: God said, "What can I give you? Ask."
The altar you raise before the Lord breaks the Heavens for you.
1 Kings 3:6 And Solomon said: "You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day.
Solomon realized that his father (David) did not live a perfect life regardless of the great works he did.
It was GREAT MERCY that propelled Him to greatness.
Lamentations 3:22-23 [Through] the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. [They are] new every morning; Great [is] Your faithfulness.
The Lord's purpose and council (MERCY) will always prevail.
Jeremiah 50:40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah And their neighbors,” says the Lord, “So no one shall reside there, Nor son of man dwell in it.
Jeremiah also realized that we were supposed to perish like Sodom and Gomorrah but the Lord's mercy saved us.
