HEARTFELT WORSHIP

Wednesday 3rd November 2022

David discovered a system of drawing the presence of God upon his life and kingdom. That is why he was known as a man after the heart of God.

Revelation 4:8 [The] four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:  " Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

The atmosphere of heaven is worship. The creatures in heaven cry  Holy, Holy, Holy, 24/7. That is the atmosphere that God inhabits and dwells in.

Amos 9:11 " On that day I will raise The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;

The distinction between the tabernacle of David from the temple of Solomon and that of Moses was that; in the tabernacle of David, there were appointed ministers 24/7 who were giving God thanksgiving, worship, and praise and this is what God wants to restore in the last days.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD...

To wait upon the lord means to minister to the Lord.

 There was a woman in the Bible called Anna, she never departed from the temple but she ministered to God in prayer and fasting.

Luke 2:37(NLT) Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer.

How do you minister to God? She furnished the heart of God with adorations and celebrations and was among the very few people who had an opportunity to know the Messiah.

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

ln the presence of God, there are very many who are making demands from God, "God give me" and there is nothing wrong with that but God is looking for people who are celebrating Him for who He is, lifting Him up and offering incense of worship, praise, Thanksgiving, gratitude, etc. This is what silences the voice of the enemy.

2 Kings 3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, "[Is there] no prophet of the LORD here, that we may inquire of the LORD by him?" So one of the servants of the king of Israel answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat [is] here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah."

2 Kings 3:15 But now bring me a musician." Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

King Jehoshaphat chosen and called as he was, didn't  have the word but as they worshiped, the voice of prophecy overtook him.

I encourage you beloved of God to make up your mind and raise an altar of worship, thanksgiving, and celebration and watch what the spirit of grace will do in your life, with your life, and through your life.
