INVOKE GOD'S MERCIES AND GRACE
Thursday 02nd February 2023

John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

There is a release of great mercies whenever prayers ascend to Heaven. There is a dimension of God's mercy that is readily available to humanity but there are those levels of mercies that God requires us to press a demand on.

We need to continue staying strong in prayer because it brings the influence of God (His mercy) not only upon your life but in your environment.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

There is a mercy bank in heaven that is not dispensed but only released on demand.

When our mercy banks multiplies on the earth, we begin to see certain manifestations of God that are beyond the usual which we are accustomed to. But these manifestations are tied to the altar life of a believer where they tie onto the horn of altars and cry out for one thing: the mercies of God.

Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,

When God appeared to Moses, He introduced Himself as a good, gracious, and kind Father. He wanted Moses and the children of Israel to know that that is who He is: forgiving inequities and also punishing inequities for those who rebel but wherever there is repentance and a turning back to Him, He will always release forgiveness and mercy.

God's answer to our prayer will come in the forms of mercy and grace .

Some situations in our lives demand for the mercies of God and others for His grace. These two virtues in God are made available on a higher platform to men and women who ask for them; at the place of seeking God on the altar of intercessions. (Psalms 90:14)

Genesis 18:20-27 21 And the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know."
23 And Abraham came near and said, "Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
27 Then Abraham answered and said, "Indeed now, I who [am but] dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord:

Abraham took it upon himself to begin negotiating for the souls of men in Sodom and Gomorrah, he leaned on the goodness and mercies of God because he knew who God was and he began to reason with God until they came to ten (Genesis 18:24).

God remembered Lot and brought him out with his two daughters because one man (Abraham) engaged God on the platform of His goodness and mercies. Lot didn't deserve it but mercy came through for him. (Genesis 19:19)

For many of us who have wayward children or husbands, and things have gone from bad to worse that you don't know what to do, you have prayed all the kinds of prayers that you know: you need to invoke the mercies and grace of God. (Lamentations 3:22)

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The answer came when the Apostle Paul engaged the mercies of God on his knees. This means there is a release of power or a revelation of God's grace into our lives in form of power to sustain, enable, resist, etc the moment we invoke His mercies.

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good [thing] will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

The Lord gives grace and glory to those who place a demand on him. Tonight I pray, brothers and sisters, cry out for the mercies of God, tell Him; 'God I need your mercies more than ever before'.
