MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Galatians 5:22 (AMPC) But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness..
The Lord enables us to live this life of faith in Him through the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
This depends on the depth of your fellowship with the Holy Spirit which must be your deliberate intentional and daily pursuit.
Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing [I do,] forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
There is a pressing that we must make to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit just like Paul and that's why he was such an outstanding Apostle.
There are two dimensions of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in a man that is; the Fruit and the Gift.
As far as the fruit is concerned, it has to be cultivated and It is a revelation of maturity and degree of intimacy/fellowship with the Holy Spirit (John 15:4 AMPC).
A gift is something you do not work for but you can never see it in action unless you press a demand on the Holy Spirit for it to be made manifest.
The working of this fellowship is in two dimensions that is; Jesus in you and you being in Him.
Jesus came to live in you the day you received Him as your Lord and Saviour, and it's a constant factor which cannot be changed (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Then you in Him is the degree of fellowship you can afford to have with God through the Holy Spirit.
It takes effort, obedience, and determination to get to a depth of you in Him which is the degree of fellowship that determines the level of maturity and is shown by the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit.
This has nothing to do with any spiritual activity but with our everyday living because the Holy Spirit was sent to empower us to live this life not only spiritually but in every area of our lives (John 14:16).
2 Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that [pertain] to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
You need more of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life than you need Him in church and that's why your fellowship is key.
This fellowship gets stronger when;
1. Walk in obedience
2. Follow what the word tells you to do with the help of the Holy Spirit.
3. Follow unwritten (specific personal) instructions that the Holy Spirit gives to you individually.
Having fellowship with the Holy Spirit helps us to deal with the filthy of the flesh and that's when you start seeing the fruits in manifestation.
1 Samuel 5:3-4 And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD...
The more the presence of God lingered in that place, that stronghold called Dagon was rooted out of the ground.
There are little dagons in your life, things that are not of the spirit but of the flesh which you cannot fight with your strength, but only with deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
While fellowship and submission are key to manifesting characteristics of God that dwell in your spirit, the expression of the gifts and fruits of the Spirit is key to living a life that men will envy.
