MORE GRACE AND MERCY

Monday 5th July 2022

Hebrews 4:6 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Father, we thank You for today and the opportunity to access the throne of grace.

We come with reverence yet with boldness because of the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary; to obtain mercy and find grace for help in time of need. Thank You, Lord, for drawing us to You.

We seek You not in vain Father, for You have neither spoken in the secret place nor told a lie. We are the generation that seeks Your face Lord (Isaiah 45:19).

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Father, You are the rewarder of them that diligently seek You. We are in diligent pursuit of who You are.

May our prayers rise from the altar of our hearts as incense with one purpose: that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done; not only in our lives but also to wherever You have placed,  sent, and assigned us (Psalms 141:2).

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Our strength is limited and our efforts are not sufficient. We, therefore, yield ourselves to You precious Holy Spirit to lead and carry us on.

Lamentations 3:22-23 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

You are self-existent, sustained by Yourself. Lord, we, therefore, look into that grace in you that is without depletion (that it can never be used up).

Jesus, You are that Rock upon which we are formed. Nothing of hell shall be able to prevail against that which You have instituted in this place and our lives (Matthew 16:18, Acts 5:38-39).

We give You our minds, hearts, emotions, and will. We submit to Your mission, purpose, calling, assignment, and voice which is our help, our preservation, provision, defense, and confidence.

Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Our help comes from You, Lord, the creator of heaven and earth.

We, therefore, submit our finite minds, strengths, and limitations and bring them to the altar to receive what is of You.
