OUR CONFIDENCE AND HOPE

Thursday 16th June 2022

Psalms 65:2 O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come.

We don't pray to a dead but living God who answers prayers. Therefore irrespective of what has not happened, He who began the good work can not leave it halfway (Philippians 1:6).

That is where we draw our confidence and hope from; God's living word that never changes (Luke 21:33).

Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint,...

Our hoping in God never disappoints as long as it is not birthed by men, desires, or ambitions. Always find hope from the word of God.

Psalms 46:2-5 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

David knew something about God that everyone else didn't. This gave him confidence in God to an extent of facing Goliath, a giant who had shaken the entire nation of Israel (1 Samuel 17).

People who know their God stand strong, face the giants, and just laugh at them (Daniel 11:32).

Psalms 37:12-13 The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.

God laughs because He knows the end. Sometimes all you need to do is to laugh at the enemy because you know the end from the beginning.

You are always confident that you will end up at the top when you pray from that understanding. You will make prayers of faith even when things look like they are not in alignment.

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

There is nothing you can ask God that is above His providence. Choose to look at Him because you are an inheritor of the blessing (Proverbs 10:22).

The blessing is not in cars, money, etc. It is an anointing that rests upon a man and makes him invisible in the face of life.

Psalms 23:1-6  The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters......

Everything you need for life is in the Lord (2 Peter 1:3).

This means you don't pray from a place of need but a place of abundance.

You are not alone because He who sent you is with you. Therefore give thanks for whatever you are going through for it is already done in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 13:8, John 8:29).

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. PASTOR BEN OCHOLA!
