PAYING THE PRICE TO HOST GOD IN OUR GENERATION

No man has ever or will ever see God because God dwells in an unapproachable light.
*1 Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom [be] honor and everlasting power. Amen.*
God only chooses to reveal Himself by taking up a certain form for every generation. For example;
He lowered Himself to take on a form of a man in the person of Jesus Christ for us to be able to see and relate with Him.
*John 14:7-9 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; .... Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?*
Even when we get to heaven, we will never be able to see God. The best and closest we can ever see is the form of His Son; Jesus Christ.
He took on a form of cloud to appear to Moses.
*Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD...Exodus 34:5*
There were three thousand people waiting from the valley but there was one man standing and talking to God on top of the mountain. For God to reveal Himself, there must be a man willing to pay the price just as Moses did.
He took on the form of sound, light and language on the day of Pentecost to reveal Himself to people from the many nations present in Acts.
*Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and [one] sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.*
He touched their ears, eyes and changed their speech. All the people from ten nations, heard, saw and could not deny Jesus anymore.
There is a form God must put on for our generation to see Him. We don't know that form but it is within God and He will take it on to reveal Himself so that men will be filled with His fear and no longer deny Him.
When He revealed Himself to Isaiah, his eyes were opened, he saw a certain form. His uncleanness was revealed, and his iniquity removed and sin purged. *Isaiah 6:5-7*
Job spoke too much but when he saw God, he abhorred himself, fell on his face and repented. *Job 42:6-7*
You cannot see God and fail to fall on your face because most of God's encounters will reveal your uncleanness and unworthiness. Someone must pay the price to reveal God and bring this generation to its knees.
God is calling each one of us; He wants to appear to us so that He manifests Himself to this generation but are you willing to pay the price?
*Exodus 34:6-7 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing [the guilty,] visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation."*
All we need to do is to reach out and take advantage of His Mercy, Grace and Goodness. When we plead for His mercy, He forgives and brings an end to all oppression happening in our lives that is tied to any form of iniquity.
The God of all flesh is your Father and there's nothing He can't handle. He will forgive us of any iniquity passed on from the fathers which could be the source of all pain, sickness, disease, addiction and failure. ( *Jeremiah 32:27, Psalms 103:1-3*)
Reach out to Him and cry for His boundless grace and mercy. It is not by might not by power but by His Spirit and Mercy.
