RAISING AN ALTAR

12th SEPTEMBER, 2022

Genesis 6:8-13 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah became the preacher of righteousness in the most wicked generation. He positioned himself as God's answer on the earth. May you be an answer to this generation and your family.

Obadiah 1:21 Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s.

There is a difference between believing God for an answer for yourself and God making you an answer to what His people are believing Him for.

Genesis 7:1 Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.

Much as Noah built the Ark it did not guarantee him being saved from the floods,  he had to obey the voice of God by entering into the boat (Proverbs 20:12).

Your life is a reflection of the instruction you get from God and obey. The greatest asset you have as a believer in your life is the ability to hear from God. Prayer is not complete until you hear from God; it's not so much what you say but what you hear from Him that's important Acts 2:2.

Genesis 8:20-21 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination[a] of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

When Noah came out of the Ark, the first thing he begun with was building an altar unto the Lord.

This has always been the answer from Genesis. Noah's altar delivered the earth from a curse that God had pronounced when Adam fell.

God cannot tell us to seek His face unless He is willing to intervene to answer our prayers.

Noah placed a seed on the altar and God smelt it. That is why up today, this life is being governed by the seed time.

Genesis 9:1-2 Nobody can stop a man or woman who has an altar life.

How do you start from nothing? Noah gave us a solution. We must raise  altars everywhere we are if we are to see the hand of the Lord mighty in our lives (Luke 23:42-43.

May God grant you the grace to build an altar in in your home, business, at your workplace and everywhere you are for the glory of His name.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
