REFINE US WITH FIRE
Wednesday 19th October 2022
Father, we thank you for Your presence, even as we come to You, I pray that You transform our lives.
Precious Holy Spirit change us, transform us and rework us so that we may be fit for Your purpose, design, and plan that you have called us to do.
Let the liquid fire of Your love burn on the altar of our hearts so that we are consumed and fully taken up by You.
Isaiah 6:7 And he touched my mouth [with it,] and said: " Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged."
Let coal from your presence touch our lips and bring an end to iniquity in our lives. Let it destroy the appetites that are strange to the kingdom of God and our senses begin to be divine-like.
Mark 9:49 "For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
Let Your fire capture our souls, and dominate our thinking, will, feelings and consciousness so that we may be filled with the fullness of God.
Lord diffuse through our senses and let our personality be wrapped in the divine. Tear every covering and expose us to the refining fire.
Rework us again, refine these vessels until what is of You can be found flowing in our lives (Zechariah 13:9).
1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let the fire burn to the very core of our hearts, behavior, and soul. Father, grant us the conversion fire, transforming fire, and the making-up fire for every affair of our lives.
Let carnality lose its hold on us so that there is no response to the stimulus that the enemy may present to us.
Luke 3:16... He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Let the fire burn in our souls, attitudes, desires, and every contamination and corruption of the flesh until what is left of us is of the divine.
Even as we continue to seek You, release us from contaminated desires and longings in our souls so that we shall no longer be held to the craving of our senses but to that which is of You.
