SPEAKING RIGHT

Thursday,3rd March 2022

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

Praying for a long time is good but the goal is to see the manifestation of heaven on earth.

We avoid having spiritual practices becoming mere religion when we see results in our prayers  (2 Timothy 3:5).

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Words are containers of power, in other words, the tongue creates and destroys, it can kill and also give life.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Most of us after prayer engage in conversations contrary to what we have prayed for and this nullifies everything in our prayers.

Prayer does not simply end with praying but you carry it to your daily life through your conversations, imagination, thoughts, or talk to sustain your request before God.

Matthew 12:25 ... "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

As long as you lack harmony between your spirit, body, and soul, it's hard to see results in your prayer life because you have a scattered life.

Numbers 11:1 Now [when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD; for the LORD heard [it,] and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the LORD burned among them, and consumed [some] in the outskirts of the camp.

The consistency of your words determines your receiving.

God listens, hears, and writes those private conversations you have with yourself and friends in corners (Malachi 3:16). Be careful of the things you say because this is where most of us lose  battles from (Jonah 2:8).

Psalms 141:3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.

The tongue is a destroyer or maker whether you are a believer or not, don't undo your prayers with your words.

It takes violence and force to hold onto the word even if everything that you see is against what you want (2 Corinthians 5:16)
