STAYING ON THE COURSE

2 Timothy 4:6-8... I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith...
Speed is not an advantage when you are running in a wrong direction. Stay in alignment with the course God has ordained/set for you to STAY in.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27... lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become qualified.
It is very crucial to keep recalling the instructions God has given to you because they are the ones that govern your walk, running, and destiny.
As long as you keep in the confine with that word(s), walk, and run within it, you are certain of the crown at the end of the race.
Stop comparing yourself with any man because we have different callings (2 Corinthians 10:12).
Compare yourself with Jesus who is our standard, and measurement for everything we do (Hebrews 12:2).
John 5:19 the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
We are here to copy and paste that which is of God and not to follow our ways or devise our system of doing things.
Many have fallen prey to the demonic spirits leading to their manipulation and being controlled by those spirits because they did not stay in alignment (2 Samuel 1:27).
Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the LORD: " Cursed [is] the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.
It is very common and easy for a man to shift his attention from God to himself because of the continuous victories.
This attracts the spirit of failure.
No matter how prayerful, holy, etc you think you are, stay in the place of humility and brokenness (Psalms 127) because you can fall anytime.
Don't be too confident in yourself. Stay on the course and have confidence in Him by;
1. Living by the written word
2. Surround yourself with authentic voices (mentors)
