THE ATTITUDE OF FAITH

Tuesday 14th June 2022

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Every spiritual activity

you engage your heart in must flow from a place of trusting God and releasing your faith in Him. Anything done outside faith is sin (Romans 14:23).

Many of us throw in the towel when we see things not coming out the way they are supposed to be yet dreams and prophecies are given to us that we may look unto Jesus. Every word God gives us points us to Jesus, who is the Living Word (Hebrews 12:2, John 5:39).

John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

For the grain to multiply, it must go through a process of death (sowing) so that the resurrection life which brings about multiplication may take over.

Many have walked away from their prophetic words, visions, and dreams because everything appeared dead. God doesn't work with the living, He works with the dead so that His resurrection (germination) power brings life to what has died.

Therefore living by the faith of the Son of God following a death is the pattern that brings forth the manifestation of every prophetic word that God has given you (Galatians 2:20).

Isaiah 51:1-2 Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him.”

God gave Abraham a word that he would bring forth a son but he had to wait for twenty-five years for it to be fulfilled.

In the natural, there was no reason left for Abraham to believe that the son would come forth but he placed his eyes on God and believed that He was faithful and able (Romans 4:17-21).

John 11:1-3 Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.”

The fact that God loves you doesn't exempt you from the evil one. He will throw dirt at you but you only need to submit to God by staying in the word and the enemy will flee (James 4:7).

John 11:24-35 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live...... Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”..Jesus wept.

Jesus wept not because Lazarus was dead but because He expected better from Martha and Mary. None of them had faith.

The word had gone forth that Lazarus' sickness was not unto death and Jesus proved it that even when a seed falls to the ground and dies, it can be brought back to life (John 11:4, Isaiah 55:10-11).

Have faith in God and hold onto what He has told you because He never runs out of options.
