THE EFFICACY OF APPLYING THE BLOOD

Hebrews 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh
The blood of animals in the old testament provided a temporary remedy for the sins of men to approach God they were able to experience His blessings.
These were simple shadows, and yet they experienced God in the dimensions they lived in. Through the blood of animals, they established and sustained a relationship/ fellowship with God that makes you jealous (Hebrews 10:1).
Hebrews 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
We now have a better sacrifice and covenant (the blood of Jesus). Above all, we have received an excellent ministry
How much more should you and me who are now living in the reality of what was the shadow excel even after giving our lives to Christ? Our lives should be able to speak greater volumes than theirs.
We need to ask the Holy Spirit to quicken our hearts and begin to take the most advantage of the efficacy embedded in the power of the blood of Jesus.
Exodus 12:7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
Exodus 12:12-13 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
Wherever you see the blood, judgment is there. It was the blood of goats and lambs that stopped the spirit of death from entering the house of the children of Israel.
As a born-again, you need to apply the blood of Jesus by faith using your tongue against the handwriting of bondage in your life.
If the blood of lambs stopped the Angel of death from entering the house of the children of Israel, how much more can the blood of Jesus do for you in this wicked and sinful generation? Let us lift the banner of the blood of Jesus and see His wonders in our generation.
Hebrews 9:7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;
The blood granted the high priest access to the place of fellowship that none of the children of Israel had. Today, the blood of Jesus introduces you to a place of fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Your awareness of the power in this blood rids you of every fear, sin, or condemnation, and you stand before the Master. That is where you can enjoy fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Don't be a victim of what the Lord already defeated because you don't want to make use of the weapons of God. Apply the blood by faith, and speak the blood (Revelation 12:11)
Colossians 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
On the cross, Jesus took away all the evidence and all the points of advantage the devil was using to launch various attacks against your life.
When you lock yourself on the cross, the devil has nothing against you because the blood shuts his mouth (John 14:30).
Luke 22:19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
The church in the book of Acts was untouchable; sickness and disease were rare, and food became their medicine.
The Holy Communion we take does not just remind us of what Jesus did or speak of the covenant,
