THE EVER-PRESENT MERCIES OF GOD
Wednesday 09th November 2022.

Lamentations 3:22 [Through] the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

There was nothing special about Israel, their wickedness was even worse than that of Sodom and Gomorrah but it is because of the mercies of God that they were not consumed.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Right from Genesis, God's heart has always been after man. His love has always driven Him to reach out even when we were enemies with Him.

Christ reached out to us even when there was nothing good about us. We didn't love and choose Him but He first loved and chose us 1 John 4:19.

Genesis 3:21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

Look at Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, after they messed it up: they began to run away from God but God came down pursuing them. This is called mercy.

They dressed themselves up in fig leaves thinking they were covering themselves but God still reached out of the abundance of His mercy and grace and made for them better clothing and clothed him with fabric better than what man figured out to do.

Tonight as we pray, I want to draw your attention that you will be intentional about engaging the mercies of God for all areas of your life in November. When you access this mercy, it will begin to work in and through your life, and wherever there was failure, stagnation, and resistance will be changed.

Galatians 3:1-3 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?...

Paul was telling the Galatians; "you have fallen from grace and now you are relying on your strength, ability, and natural credentials. You are no longer looking at God."

Many begin well but along the way, they start trusting their experience and what they call their way and performance yet you cannot stand before the Master based on your performance Psalms 39:5. We thank God for all those giftings but the moment you are dealing with God, take everything that is of you and place it at His feet.

Jeremiah 8:22 [Is there] no balm in Gilead, [Is there] no physician there? Why then is there no recovery For the health of the daughter of my people?

There was nothing under the sun that could cure our sickness(pestering wounds), God didn't trust an angel or any heavenly creatures with His mission but He reached out to us. What grace! what mercy! that while we were blind, He reached out to us.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew [their] strength; ...

To renew means to exchange which means that God gives us His righteousness, strength, wisdom, knowledge power, and virtue and with His virtue, we stand, win and conquer in this life. Men think it is us but it is not us, it is what He has given us because He took everything that was a disadvantage and gave it over to the enemy and gave us His.

Romans 8:29-31 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us?

If the body of Christ can understand this, we will begin to walk in dimensions of power and great dimensions of mercy and grace of God that we have never known before. I pray that the Holy Spirit may open our eyes so that we may get the revelation of the mercies and grace of God.

Mark 5:1-20... However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you."...

Mercy met the mad man and he was delivered from the chains of death. The deliverance of this young man was the deliverance of an entire family: he was naked but mercy covered and dressed him up and he became the reflection of God's mercy and grace.

That same mercy can be availed to you!

Matthew 15:32 Now Jesus called His disciples to [Himself] and said, "I have compa
