THE FLOW OF THE CURRENT OF THE SPIRIT.
Wednesday 5 December 2022-Day 3 of prayer and fasting
Praying and fasting can take us to different dimensions as long as we yield to the flow of the Holy Spirit .
John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
We adapt in spirit by becoming like the wind. That's how we learn to flow to the current of Heaven.
You can ascend to the heights of Zion in worship, intercession, praise, etc depending on the wing that the Holy Spirit has chosen to rise on.
That's why we ought to yield to whatever flow He chooses during times of seeking God because it's what makes us soar without becoming weary ( Isaiah 40:31 ).
John 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
We don't jump into the pool anytime we want. There were/are instructions for healing to occur.
1. Paying attention to the move of the Spirit.
2. Jumping into the water after being stirred by the Spirit.
The instructions call(ed) for alertness, sensitivity, expectancy, and flexibility so that we can always jump in any time the stirring takes place.
The Holy Spirit only carries those that yield and surrender to Him. That's why we need to pay attention to His move.
John 5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
Jesus got a hundred percent results because He would always copy from His Father ( Luke 11:2 ).
Ecclesiastes 9:11(NLT) I have observed something else in this world of ours. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise are often poor, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being at the right place at the right time.
Chance (being in the right place at the right time) refers to reading the calendar of Heaven and yielding to the Spirit.
That's how we get amazing and strange manifestations beyond natural programming and discipline ( Luke 5:26 ).
John 2:4 "My hour has not yet come.”
John 7:6 “My time has not yet come,...
Jesus was meaning that a person manifests fully, neither fails nor gets sabotaged in their time. That's what happens when we become sensitive and yielded to the flow of the Spirit.
Sensitivity is a function of the heart and not the brain. It is only attained in the place of brokenness where we can discern the move of the Spirit.
Mark 2:22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins;... But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
New wine expands and bursts the old wineskins because they are not flexible.
That's why we pray and fast to renew wineskins so that they become soft, sensitive, and flexible to accommodate expansion during the flow of the Holy Spirit.
