THE HOLY SPIRIT CARRIES US
Tuesday 4 January 2022-Day 2 of prayer and fasting
Every time we surrender and yield genuinely to the Holy Spirit , He draws us deeper into the outflow of Him from within to the Father and carries us in prayer.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us...
We shout, cry, groan, etc in prayer not because we want but we yield to the Spirit letting Him to carry us to deeper dimensions in Him.
Psalms 107:23-24 Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters, They see the works of the Lord, And His wonders in the deep.
Response to the Saviour, praying, and seeking the Master by the energy of the Holy Spirit is what causes us to rise to places we have never known before in prayer.
He chooses the energy He wants to flow through you and our work is to yield and surrender ourselves.
There is a place in God where your spirit rises like an edifice and causes you to pray beyond human energy without ceasing ( Jude 1:20 AMP, Luke 18:1 ).
1 Thessalonians 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
We quench the Holy Spirit when we get distracted by thoughts, imaginations, and surroundings during prayer and fasting.
We ought to always keep focused on the Master making Him our vision to avoid distractions ( Psalms 16:8 ).
Hosea 6:2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.
May the Holy Spirit revive everything that had died in your life as a result of queching Him (the fire, passion, desire, yearning, love for the Master, etc).
Revelation 3:15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
The description of the throne of God is fire. May the Holy Spirit rekindle the flame again because that is where we ought to be.
May He carry us to deeper levels in Him because strange manifestations are walked into not by ordinary praying, but total abandonment and surrender of everything to the Master.
