THE LIFE OF A SPIRIT

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’
What drives the flesh is in the blood; when you take the blood out of the flesh, you get a dead body.
Just like the blood is the substance that nourishes your physical body, the life of any spirit is in the Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who gives life to your spiritual life.
That's why throughout the scriptures, it took the moving of the Holy Spirit in and upon men for anything to be done; even Adam had to receive the spirit before life.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead,....
The more we as the church allow the person of the Holy Spirit and His ministry to function among them, the more we will see the life of God and His virtues flowing through us.
I pray that word will help us to cry to Him and yearn more for His move in our lives.
