THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE CALLED MERCY
Friday 07th January 2022 DAY 5 of prayer and fasting
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Christ was without sin but for our sake God made Him to share our sins inorder we might share the righteousness of God.
Sin and All that comes along with it, God took it upon Himself including all the sicknesses, diseases, pain, poverty, and everything that came into activation due to man's sin and what was of God (righteousness) , He placed it on man.
Our fellowship with Christ now affords us a place of divine advantage due to the exchange that took place.
2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, [as] workers together [with Him] also plead with [you] not to receive the grace of God in vain.
This is what grace and mercy affords us.God wants us to leverage and maximize His mercy in our lives.
Some people are not enjoying this grace and mercy but your role is to receive it( 1 Corinthians 15:10 ) beyond your prayer, fasting, and seeking to the another side of God called Mercy
You can do all the spiritual practices and activities but always leave a space for the mercies of God.
2 Samuel 9:13 So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem, for he ate continually at the king's table. And he was lame in both his feet.
Mercy of God located Mephibosheth from village to a palace.
1 Kings 21:27 So it was, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his body, and fasted and lay in sackcloth, and went about mourning.
King Ahab who was one of the most wicked kings of the time understood the Mercies of God and went into fasting crying for Mercies of God.
The word of God appeared to prophet Elisha and his judgment was postponed James 2:13
2 Corinthians 6:2 For He says: " In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the ACCEPTED TIME; behold, now is the day of salvation.
This is the right time for your salvation because of the mercies of God.
Even as you continue seeking the master in these 21 days of prayer and fasting , ask the Holy Spirit His mercy for your life and receive it with meekness for your.
