THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH 2024
John 1:1,3 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Proverbs 3:19 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens;
There is nothing we see on earth that God created except by His wisdom.
Mark 6:1-2 [1] Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. [2] And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!
The mighty works of Jesus were attributed to His wisdom; He wasn't born with it but it was just given to Him.
If that wisdom was given to Jesus, then you and I can get that wisdom because it is what we need to build everything we need in life.
Genesis 1:26-28
Man being created in God's image had a degree of God's wisdom that was imparted in Adam and Eve that even when man fell, God didn't withdraw it.
Every human being in the likeness of God has a degree of wisdom that they are born with and there is a kind of wisdom that we get from school but the wisdom being talked about is not that.
1 Corinthians 1:24,30 [24] but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. [30] But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God and the Bible tells us that nothing was created without Him. John 1:3
The day we accepted Christ, wisdom came into our hearts. We are potentially wise but the only challenge is that many of us have not engaged it.
Jesus was able to perform the mighty works because of the wisdom. The same Holy Spirit that filled Jesus is that same spirit in us; that means that we can produce the results that Jesus did.
JOSEPH
Genesis 41:14-38
Pharaoh attributed the wisdom of Joseph to the Spirit of God. Joseph was able to rise because of wisdom; wisdom can change your life.
God gave us this wisdom because He wants to distinguish and separate us. That is why God sent His Spirit to dwell in us.
JOSHUA
Deuteronomy 34:9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
This wisdom is not learnt but it is received as a result of transfer of spirits. May God fill us with the Spirit of wisdom because that is what we need to take over all we need to.
SOLOMON
1 Kings 3:5-7, 10:23-24
King Solomon didn't have that wisdom but he asked for it and it was transferred to him. He surpassed all the kings of the earth because the spirit of wisdom that created the world was in him.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever; He doesn't change. He can give you a wise and understanding heart like Solomon but all you need to do is to get on your knees and pray for it.
Remember, this kind of wisdom is neither studied nor taught but it is only given by God.

1 Chronicles 12:32
The brethren were at command because they knew the times and seasons and ought to be done.
It is not enough to know God's will, we need wisdom and spiritual understanding that we may be able to walk worthy of the Lord. Colossians 1:9-10
