YOUR TRUE STRENGTH
TUESDAY 25TH OCTOBER, 2022

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,...

God began by creating this body because, without it, our life is off. We need this shell (body) to be in the right order so that the Holy Spirit can function effectively through our lives.

God needs this body for His will to find expression on earth. That's why the devil attacks it because he knows that when this body is not well, even God will find difficulty in having His will done on earth.

Jesus said;

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: β€œ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:17

When the body is well, then the spirit can function without any hindrance.

The spirit.

The true capacity and the real strength of a man reside in their spirit. That's why you need to pay attention to your inner man: furnish, build, feed him; do whatever it takes to let strength flow in there.

Ephesians 3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

The place from which you draw the strength of the inner man is the wealth of God's glory which has no limit. Therefore it is you who determines how much you draw from the wealth of His glory.

It is the spirit that governs the real you and it is the fruit of the spirit that reveals to us the measure of strength in your spirit. In other words, the expression of the fruit of the spirit in your life shows us how much of your inner man has been built.

Proverbs 24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

It is not a question of the attack, persecution, or troubles that you're experiencing but the measure of strength you have.

This means you can muscle up within yourself strength that can overturn every adversity that comes at you.

Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?

What sustains a man in the days of adversity/calamity is not the physical body but the spirit. Take time to build strength inside of you.

John 16:33 …In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Jesus had built strength on the inside that when the external was giving way, He was sustained by something that eyes could not see, the devil and the world couldn't touch.

The true strength of a believer comes from your spirit. Never allow Satan to cheat you of moments of building your inner man.

Just as you go to the physical gym to build your physical muscles, you must learn to go to the spiritual gym to build your inner muscles so you can hold onto weights that come on you and sustain whatever the enemy throws at you because there is strength. 1 Timothy 4:8

Take time to build your inner capacity. Don't be like the Pharisees who majored in the outward working and left out the inside Matthew 23:25-27

How do you build inner capacity?

1. Using the Word
Your true strength and real ability is determined by the measure of the Word you have in your spirit because your spirit man is strengthened by the Word just like your physical body feeds on natural food.

Take time and feed on the word, worship, think on, and converse in the Word to yourself. There is always an interaction that occurs: the word is a carrier of divine energy into your spirit.

Ephesians 6:11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The armor of God is the word. Dress up yourself with the word because that is where your strength comes from (your inner man is strengthened by the life of God, which is the word of God). John 6:63

How will you know that you are not feeding enough?
When calamity shows up!
That's why you need to be intentional in building your inner man through the word so that you may obtain strength to be able to stand in times of calamities.

2. Speaking in tongues

Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, bu
