This week's guest speaker is Melbra Watts. Melbra has accumulated extensive experience in the non-profit sector and currently serves as the Executive Director at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, a free clinic that provides integrative care to low-income women with cancer. Before joining the clinic, she worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the Oakland Private Industry Council, where she administered several programs funded by the Department of Labor and worked to coordinate a regional one-stop career center. Additionally, she furthered her personal passion for providing accessible healthcare at low costs by working as a wellness consultant. Beyond her work experience, she received a BA in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
