My guest today is Ramita Ravi, a dancer, choreographer, educator, entrepreneur, actor, and consultant. She is the first South Asian to be featured on So You Think You Can Dance. Ramita has choreographed for Lincoln Center, Raveena, KSHMR, Buzzfeed, and Spotify. She has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Columbia, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and Alvin Ailey. She is faculty with Groove Dance, Headliners, and Imagine Dance Challenge. Ramita has numerous credits to her name as well, including Spinning Gold, John Oliver, TNT, Viceland, Hermès NYFW, Mystic India: The World Tour, and recently the world premiere of the musical Bhangin’ It! She also works as a consultant in the areas of UX Design, Product Strategy, Marketing, and Program / Portfolio Management. Ramita is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Artswrk: a professional network for artists and creatives.
