Chris Cawkwell is an artist and director of Art Lacuna. Chris is an installation artist who investigates commercial brands advertising such as Nike, the idea of buying into a brand and a lifestyle. Chris graduated from Wimbledon Art School in 2012 from a MA and with fellow graduates started Art Lacuna. Art Lacuna is a non for profit artist run project space in Clapham Wandsworth., they strive to support emerging artists through exhibitions and affordable studio space and believe strongly in championing emerging artists. Chris has his own studio at Art Lacuna working alongside the other artists and feels the space and his practise work well along side one another.
