What’s up 🌎 ‼️Welcome or welcome back to The Polaroid Podcast with Michael Codrington. Buckle up sports fans because this episode is very sports-heavy. Justin Wagner and I have known each other since 5 years old, slowly becoming brothers at Excellence Charter School. I broke the ice with some questions about Justin’s experience. Of course, our times there made us the young adults that we are today. Entering, succeeding in, and graduating from college has been our mission for awhile. Most days during lunch, Justin, myself and whoever else would talk sports for what seemed like ever. I still remember vividly when Shabazz Napier led UCONN to the national championship, an intense day of sports discussion and celebration. Even cooler, our then- Principal Mr. Sawicki revealed to us that he had been Napier’s 6th grade principal at Roxbury Prep. Small world huh. Justin is a 3rd year student at SUNY Buffalo State , hoping to pursue a career in sports communications. In this episode, we took it back to the lunch table and talked all things NFL. Justin and I had talked extensively over the weekend about sports in anticipation of the episode. From the Hail Mary in the desert, to the upside down fiasco that is the NFC East, we talked about it all. NBA Free Agency went live at noon on Monday, so the recent trades were also a hot topic of our conversation. It was an incredible experience to talk sports with one of my brothers in Justin. As always, thank you for listening 🖤 much appreciated. Recorded 11.17.20
