Appearing on lucky episode number 7 of The Polaroid Podcast ™️ is none other than Bailey Colón. A current Marist College Junior, studying Journalism and Political Science, Bailey and I’s friendship started on a basketball court. It’s also where our podcast begins, as she speaks on her love for the game of basketball, being coached by her father, her favorite basketball movies of all time, and more. As much as she loves the game itself and working towards a common goal, she recalls how basketball allowed her to go to India. It was both a fulfilling and stressful trip for Colón, as she talks about being stuck in an airport for 3 days. I asked Bailey, a former sharpshooter to name her 5 favorite shooters. We struggled to name 3 shooters between the 2 of us but it seemed like a solid place to end the basketball conversation. We spend the remaining time exploring how Journalism incorporates itself in our everyday lives and the sources of inspiration that Bailey draws her passion from. It was truly a great conversation, which I thought that I would escape without ridicule. But, I end with the story of my first concussion, yet again. Sorry Mom.
