In a unanimously tired culture, why aren’t we better at rest? There are a lot of things that come easy to us, but faith takes work. Every day we face tension for control. The busier we become, the more control we desire. Our obsession with control generates more worry than certainty. When control becomes our goal, faith is no longer our strategy; instability becomes our reality. Stillness and rest both lead to a confrontation with this hectic reality. We find a rested, full, and free life when cultivating an instinctive faith.
