Description

In the quiet moments between our asking and God's answering, between our reaching and His responding, lies one of faith's most transformative practices: Reception.

Think of a child opening their hands to catch falling snow, or a gardener positioning a seedling to receive morning light—there's an art to being truly open to what God wants to give us.

Reception isn't about sitting passively and hoping something happens; it's about training our hearts to recognize God's grace when it comes, often in ways we didn't expect or think to ask for.

This Meta-Practice invites us to release our tight grip on how we think God should work and instead cultivate the beautiful discipline of receiving His wisdom, His timing, His provision exactly as He offers it.

The Meta-Practices aren't about perfecting your spiritual performance or earning God's favor—it's about learning to recognize and receive the grace that's already flowing toward you in countless ways each day.
