At its heart, discipleship is about learning to be friends with Jesus and letting Him teach us how to love well. It's not about having all the answers or getting everything right—it's about showing up with an open heart and curious mind. We practice preparing ourselves to meet with God, not by checking off spiritual to-do lists, but by simply getting ready to receive whatever He wants to give us. Instead of rushing to figure out what everything means or how to apply it immediately, we're learning to slow down, trust more, and let God's presence change us from the inside out. This kind of faith is less about performing and more about receiving, less about controlling and more about trusting.
