Music Therapy is the clinical & evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program Lori Gooding, PhD, MT-BC, is an Associate Professor of Music Therapy at Florida State University. Her primary clinical work has been with medical and mental health populations, and her research has focused on using music therapy to address psychosocial needs in medical and military-connected populations.
