My top pick for narrative feature at Dances with Films 2023 is The Black Guelph. This film caught me off guard and I fell in love with it during the opening scene. John Connors directed the film and co-wrote it with Tiernan Williams.
Today we talk with some of the main actors from the film. Kevin Glynn (also an executive producer), Tony Doyle (Virgil) and Graham Earley (Canto) sat down to discuss how the film came about.
Every once in awhile I see a film at a festival that makes me remember why I started doing Salt Lake Dirt. The Black Guelph is one of those films. It is not to be missed! Keep a lookout for it.
Thanks for listening!
