Ellie Pell has just returned from representing the Trails Collective at the Bandera 100k Golden Ticket race. While there she secured second place after a hard fought battle with Utah's Leah Yingling. She plans to represent the east coast at the Western States 100 Mile race this June. In this interview, Ian Golden, owner of the Trails Collective and mentor to Ellie digs deep into what went into this race. He asks probing questions about race strategy, nutrition, psychology and takes questions from the Collective.
This episode is the first of hopefully bright things to come from east coast runners on the national stage.
