According to Marti Barletta, author of Marketing to Women, women are the primary decision-makers for consumer goods in 85% of households. In this episode Ciara & Holli explore "Pink Marketing;" what it is and why it might not be the best approach to marketing to women. A big myth is that marketing to "women" is a niche. You can't generalize an entire gender. In reality, women come in all shapes and sizes, different backgrounds and needs, so marketing to the umbrella of women is going to fall flat. We share some helpful tips on marketing to women the right way, and how to gain a loyal customer base when done correctly.
