WHAT IS THE REAL MEANING OF SACRIFICE?
Giving up what is not real can hardly be a sacrifice. Giving up the non-joyous for the joyous is the only "sacrifice" we need to make. Above all else we want to see Heaven instead of Hell. We made the Hell and we can let it go. This is not a "sacrifice" but a compassionate act of aligning with the Truth, not with the "illusions."
