Paul and Glenn are back for another fun and entertaining episode. This episode we go back thousands of years to explore some sports that took place during ancient times and discuss how some of the sports back then are still very popular today eg, archery, wrestling, boxing, martial arts.

In this episode some of what we discuss include

- The evolution of the Ancient Games in Greece and how it was resurrected into the Modern Olympic Games of today.

- The oldest sport in North America, that was first played by the Native American’s and is still a popular sport today.

- The Roman Coliseum, which still stands tall today and is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built.

- Milo from Croton, the master of the progressive overload training technique and the most successful athlete of the Ancient Games.

- Tsu Chu, Sumo Wrestling, and Nguni stick fighting.

- Mesoamerican ballgame

- Pato, the national sport of Argentina and Buzkashi, the national sport of Afghanistan.

- Pankration, Fisherman’s Joust, Venatio, Camel jumping and Viking Skin pulling.

- The Olympic flame and memories of it travelling around Australia in the leadup to the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
