Paul and Glenn are back for another fun and entertaining bumper episode. This week we will discuss the Paris Olympics and the herculean performances from some of our Aussie sportspeople. We will then talk about some of the well-known owners of sporting teams and the huge amount of money involved, especially in owning some of the American sporting franchises. Some of what will be discussed includes:
- An American businessman who for many years has been the owner, President and General Manager of arguably the NFL’s most recognized franchise.
- A famous trans-Tasman actor and Hollywood star who has a great passion for Rugby League and has owned a team in the NRL, being instrumental in their resurgence after being kicked out of the competition in 2000.

- Nathan Tinkler, Geoffrey Edelsten, Clive Palmer
- Elton John and Watford FC.
- The NRL and the AFL taking over the licenses of struggling teams e.g., Gold Coast titans
- The power of News Limited and their ownership in teams e.g., Brisbane Broncos.
- Well-known celebrities and their ownership of sporting teams e.g., Bill Murray, Magic Johnson.
- The richest owners in American sports e.g., Steve Cohen, David Tepper, Daniel Gilbert and Steve Ballmer.
