Paul and Glenn are back for another action packed and educational episode. This week we are going to talk about some of the well-known and interesting sporting trophies from over the years. Some of what we will discuss include

• The oldest existing championship trophy in north american professional sport.

• A small old terracotta urn that originated in 1882 and now represents the greatest and most long-standing test cricket series to this day.

• NRL and AFL trophies and the Clive Churchill medal and Norm Smith medals.

• Webb ellis trophy

• The open championship “claret jug”. And the Masters “Green jacket”.

• Football trophies such as the FIFa world cup, UEFA champions trophy and Fa cup.

• Wimbledon men’s and ladies singles trophies.

• America’s cup

• Olympic medals

• Larry o’brien championship trophy

• The carlisle bell, the world’s trophy dating back to 1599.

• The kolkana trophy, the biggest trophy ever made and the borg-warner trophy.

• World;s smallest trophy the lyonesse cup at 9mm tall.
