Due to our human fallenness, we have the tendency to put our trust in worldly power. When God's judgment comes or we face the consequences of our unbelief, we tend to feel that we are abandoned by God. But because God is faithful, we have hope. We can have the courage to face our challenges knowing that He is a covenant-keeping God.
