Tan has a BS from Cornell and an engineering PhD from UC San Diego, she has spent her career in executive leadership roles, and even in the government as a CIO. She was a highly successful corporate mother of two beautiful girls and had a dream of starting her own clothing line. She had a pivotal moment where she knew things needed to change, she hired a business coach and quit her full-time job.
