Hello, today I want to answer the question can TikTok be used for affiliate marketing. The answer is yes, TikTok can be used for affiliate marketing. Also, nearly all platforms where you communicate with other people can be used for affiliate marketing, but let's just talk about TikTok.
How I am using Tiktok for Affiliate marketing is first I create a video using my phone. What I will first do is create a 1-2 page article on a question that someone has in my niche. Then I will take that information and make a YouTube video about it.
Then I will take the notes and then I will make a short 1 minute video on a few of the highlights of my article. I'll upload it to TikTok, then I will play around with a few effects and make fire around me or fireworks or something stupid.
At the end of the video I will invoke curiosity for someone to check out my website. I will also include my website name at the top of the video. When someone checks out my website they are invited to join my list.
I'll use the list to promote various products. Low ticket items up front all the way to high ticket items on the backend. If someone buys a product, I make money.
I also use a program called displaypurposes or allhashtags to create many hashtags on the topic my video is about so that it can be found. Another way to use TikTok for affiliate marketing is with your profile. You can include links to your Instagram profile and YouTube channel if you have one.
Some people can check out those channels. On my Instagram profile I use Linktree to link to my optin form and all my YouTube videos have my website address on them.
Some people could check out my other channels where I can get them on my list. You might be wondering if there is a way to add a clickable link to TikTok. I have not found any way to do this.
What I do is just mention my domain name in the video and I'll write the domain name in the video. Someone then has to manually type in the .com name to go to my optin form.
That is the negative with TikTok right now, but this could change in the future.
Let's talk about the positive. For starters, it's very popular right now and many people are on it. Another positive as of right now is that they don't have ads. This means more of your videos will be seen.
You are not competing with the ads.In the future this will change because it's a business and a business makes money right?
Another positive is according to Gary Vee it's much easier to get views because of the supply and demand. This means there are much more people viewing videos on the app rather than making videos.
In conclusion, it takes 1 minute to make a video, and there are only positives to using it and growing your audience and business with it. Whether you are brand new to affiliate marketing or you have been doing it for many years like me, there is 1 person I highly encourage you to check out.
