Hey, today I want to talk about email strategy best practices for affiliate marketing! One of the most common questions on email marketing is how often should you email your list.
If your emails are entertaining, fun and give value then you can send multiple emails every day. If your emails suck and are boring then you should learn how to create good emails. My partner sends 4 emails a day and he makes a lot of money. He has helped me make a lot of money as well.
Another very important point is that you want to stick to just 1 product and talk about it for around 7 days. Don't mention 7 different products in a week because that will confuse people.
On your 7th day it's a good idea to have some urgency built in. If it's a product launch usually there is already some urgency built into it.
Usually the price goes up or something like that. Say you are promoting an evergreen product that you can promote 1 year from now and it's still on.
A great idea is to create bonus's for that offer. Then on the 7th day a sunday, mention that you are taking the bonus's off the table if they don't buy. Let's talk about the email itself and the first topic is the subject line. A good subject line gets someone curious, different and is fun. cAfter the email subject line comes the first sentence in the email.
The first sentence continues on the curiousity train, also creates wonder and intrigue. A great tip on how to create the first sentence in an email is to study the first sentence in fiction books.
What is very important is you don't want to give away the whole story in the email. You want to tease, tease, tease and then put in your link.
The link is there to find the answer. If you tell them everything in the email, they have nothing left to click for other than the price and that is a bad thing.
When it comes to getting someone to click, you want to use short language that gets to the point. Think of the head sheriff in town.
Also being assumptive is a good idea. Assume they are going to click on the link. One last point I want to mention is some people think it's a good idea to put all kinds of links in the email.
This comes down to a fear. I actually did this for a long time in my YouTube videos where I would mention the link in the beginning. Now, I don't. It's better to have just one link at the end. I hope you got some value from this video on email strategy best practices for email marketing.
If you did then please hit the thumbs up button, it would mean a lot to me.
