One of the many things that Kevin has done while quarantining in the comfort of his home is connecting to his family's heritage. The medium through which he did this is music, which he beautifully narrates in his personal essay, "The missing vinyl." His essay was published last November 12, 2020, and on this episode, he joins our host on a call all the way from Laguna to talk about his love for music, his family heritage, and why he thinks it's important for everyone to know one's origins and learn how to love it. | About the guest: Kevin, 26, works at Laguna State Polytechnic University. He is currently taking up Master of Arts in Communication Arts at University of the Philippines Los Banos. He is fond of writing creative nonfiction and essays, reading books, and watching coming-of-age films.
