Description

In this episode of Obsessively Outspoken, we revisit past and present events regarding Blackface. We discuss comedian/co-host Joy Behar from ABC, 'The View' and an old blackface photo that recently surfaced. Yellow and I delve into the true definition of blackface as we both agreed the photo of Joy Behar was not an accurate depiction of blackface. This brings us right into the Gucci sweater and what could possibly be the motive behind this offensive fashion design.

We talk in detail about the recent sexual allegations against Lt. Governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax and what this could mean for his political career. Liam Neeson got in hot water for comments about wanting to get revenge by killing a random black man on behalf of a friend who was raped by an African-American male decades ago. We debate whether or not Neeson should be cancelled for his racist comments or be forgiven for being human and honest.

Lastly, we highlight an on-air comment about the Hispanic community made by political commentator Tom Brokaw that many considered offensive.
