It is basically stonewalling; nothing ever gets through, both good and bad, on the wrong notion that everything coming is bad. Pride and defensiveness are issues we all get to face per time, but many times we fail to deal with it because we enjoy the false pedestal it puts us on while destroying the core of our being.
