The book/film pick for June was On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan(Dial Press, 2008).

It stars Saoirse Ronan and Dunkirkās Billy Howle, with Emily Watson, Anne-Marie Duff, Samuel West and Adrian Scarborough. It was adapted author Ian McEwan. Dominic Cooke directed the film, he is known for his work at the National Theatre, and recently directed the mini-series The Hollow Crown. It is co-produced by BBC and Number 9 Films.
